Community Building

I was somewhere in my late 20s when I decided to BE love, joy & courage. At that point in my life I felt like I was supposed to have it all figured out (HAHAHA) or at the very least be further along than I was. Sure I had a pretty good career, had traveled quite a bit, had owned a home and was basically ticking off the boxes of figuring it out but something was missing. I had taken a few MAJOR leaps of faith along the way and somewhere deep down, although I likely couldn’t articulate it at the time, I knew that I had to leave room for magic to happen. I realized that maybe instead of the question being “what was I going to DO” it was “what was I going to BE” and maybe just maybe the inspiration would flow from there.

I had the privilege of running into Kirsten Blake from Chapter Be while at the WDS conference and she has boldly taken on this very question through her BE Stories project. She is a storyteller, an explorer and a community builder and I agreed to be interviewed by her before I knew anything about her or her project.

The universe works in beautiful ways because it was only after our interview, which you can catch a recording of here, that I looked into her and realized how fitting her project is for this time in my life. If you’ve ever considered blazing a new road, intentionally creating a next chapter or if you simply enjoy a good story, then head over to Chapter Be and take a listen. There you will find Kirsten amongst her tribe of dreamers and believers, the brave souls willing to share their stories, in the midst of the unfolding, of who they are being in the world.

with love, joy and courage,

Heather
